Hydrox cookies (the original, ripped off by Oreo) for the win.

Hydrox cookies

I'll look for them.

I looked up Oreo and parent companies / brands. Seems like I already generally avoid all / most of the Mondelez / Kraft products. Just don't like their products.

So, no loss for me to boycott / avoid Oreos. I don't buy them anyway.

I'm so friggin sick of this LBQxyz agenda and being in my face. I'm getting to the point where if I even suspect there is someone gay near me, I'll feel compelled to randomly declare that I'm straight.

They want acceptance. Fine, live and let live. They want to force their lifestyle on me, fuck you.

I've heard that some people eat fruits and vegetables. I suppose I can try that.

I've been culling subscriptions, favorite food brands, stores, for a couple of years and I can drop these clowns like an old girl-friend.

I don't expect to make a difference in anybody's bottom line, for me it's a matter of self-respect, I will not feed the dog that bites me.

Damn! Bought my first bag of Oreos in 15 years last week.
I'll throw the rest away. Nutter Butters are better anyway.

The multi-nationals think so.
Try to buy smaller local brands.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

I really don’t eat sweets, so I ain’t missin’ nothin’. I can still take the opportunity, however, to tell Oreo to FOAD.

Have a nice day…

I don't get the point of these type of commercials. Is that supposed to make me want a cookie? I don't find it offensive, just unnecessary.

I don't understand how it can be profitable to virtue signal to < 5% of the population.

Does that mean that they will be making a special variety for the sexually confused? Like, say, pink cookies? Or half-dark brown and half-pink for the not made-their-minds-up'ers?

Here in our gun-club we only use 'em as targets.

I think it's not just the explicit sub-population but also the rabid, irrational leftists who also suffer from poor self confidence / self worth / self image and need to believe something that sounds virtuous to find meaning in themselves. Unfortunately, it seems like these are many.

Oreo used to be a pejorative term for Uncle Toms. You know black on the outside but white on the inside.

While Hydroxy cookies are available on Amazon, they will back in stores in the fall of 2022.

I have always liked them better than Oreos.

It seems to be the latest trend in corporate governance, and I'm sure many companies believe the market research data that supports the thesis that being socially progressive at a minimum will not erode sales enough to offset any short term bump they get from announcing their alignment with progressive causes. If that's true, it's basically because conservatives and others who object to or are offended by the position are either too small of a segment of the market to offset sales, or more likely, will not actually boycott the company's products at enough scale to affect sales negatively.
