We domesticated them, we were careless in having our pets spayed or neutered, so, by God, this is the way to behave.

Watch it and let the anger about our nation's current circumstances melt away, if only for a little while.

To those who do this kind of work, I say may God bless you. I don't possess the courage to deal with the pain inherent in animal rescues, so, my hat is off to those of you who do have the courage.

Of all the aspects of human nature, caring for helpless animals is among the noblest.

The happy dog footage at the end of these videos is incredible. I’ve got a rescue mutt snoring on the couch beside me and one under foot cleaning up any popcorn that falls on the floor. Smile

Tina you're a fortunate little dog!

I have to say mine is too because she along with the rest of her litter and mother were scheduled to be euthanized when our local Animal Friends learned of it and rescued them.

Good for Tina.

Anyone that thinks dogs don’t run the same gamut of emotions as we do isn’t looking very closely. We have evolved with them as companions for at least 16,000 years and some think much longer than that. The bond between our species is incredibly strong.

Statistically, black dogs and cats are the ones who suffer the most abuse/neglect at the hands of their human "owners."

People generally suck, then you see a good one like these. Sweet dog.

My three rescue cats agree, it's good to live indoors again.

I can only watch a couple Howl of a Dog vids per week, though YouTube keeps sending them to me, they know I'm a sucker for rescues.

Dang Para, that video made so many of my emotions bubble up. Thanks for posting. My wife has rescued countless cats, two live with us. My son has two rescue dogs and one looks just like Tina. If that dog was abandoned (which it appears to be) I hope the person(s) that did it burn alive. I am 100% serious about what I wish for them.

Those animals who are abandon many times end tragically, lucky for that little guy that he was found and cared for. Bless those folks. I hope that he finds a caring home and good folks to care for him the rest of his days.

We are currently fostering 4 kittens that were a day old when they got rescued. 3 of them are spoken for and the 4th has plenty of suitors. It's going to be hard to watch them leave but I feel lucky to have a wife that has roped me into the rescue community.
It is very rewarding.

Love how happy she looks now. Just wait until she finds a forever home (if she hasn't already).

How people treat animals tells me about 99% of everything I need to know about them.

Her temperament, even in the beginning, was amazing. What a sweet, wonderful dog. Para, I agree; God bless the wonderful people that rescue.

Working with our beagle rescue is one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. We have fostered and rehabilitated 15 beagles in our two years with the rescue, and "foster-failed" one of the dogs who we could not bear to part with.

To anyone who has ever considered volunteering with a rescue, DO IT. The reward is beyond words when they look into your eyes and they realize they are safe and loved. It gets me every time.

The people that made this obviously sweet tempered dog so afraid of people, need to rot in hell.

When the rescuers finally die, there will be a long line of wagging tails waiting to greet them at the gate.
