Canadian Club 12 year old is just fine. Way cheaper than Crown. Consistent taste bottle after bottle.

I, personally, don't care for the flavored stuff. It's already flavored to taste like whiskey...like it should.

Crown Reserve is probably the best Canadian blend that I've ever had. The stuff is wonderful and would make a great gift.

Pendleton would be my second choice, but still a great one.

Crown Royal is always acceptable as a gift. But can"t you call a wife, girlfriend or such to find out what he really likes?

How about just asking him what he drinks? Mention that you might like to try it.

Probably because the distiller will not pay N.C. their high or should I say exorbitant import tariff. In the late 60's early 70's we had a nice Bourbon called Yellowstone and then all of a sudden we couldn't get it any more and that was the reason.

Does anyone know if there is a single malt Canadian?

The clerk at the LLS said that the Crown Royal Bourbon Mash is selling well.

I just saw that stuff today. It was at a liquor store in a tourist area so I didn’t buy any as I’m sure I can get it cheaper.

I'm a big fan of Crown/Crown Black. Since I retired in 2015, it has been my mission to convert as much of the stuff to urine as possible. Big Grin

We have a cottage in Canada. 3rd generation with cottage. No question, down through many years of family members trying them all, Wiser rules. Not well known, a shame because it easily outclasses the more expensive stuff.
