Hey guys, I am a home based FFL, and I’d like to find some distributors who carry Vortex optics. The only one I’ve found so far is DSG. Any leads would be appreciated.

Scott at Liberty Optics seems to do great business - not sure if / how he deals with FFLs, but it might be with the call.

They seem to be THE outfit to deal with when buying Vortex retail, so they might be worth talking to.

I don't carry optics since they can be bought everywhere and sometimes cheaper than I can,

who do you use now for a distributor?

I use Lipsey's for most stuff since they are not a particular about my hours and location , (small FFL/SOT), but they do not carry Vortex,

I also use Ron Shirk sometimes

RSR and Sports south won't give the time of day since I don't carry any new stuff or order enough to make them happy,

GT distributers sells them. But for the price they sell them to the public, I doubt you can get much of a deal.

I thought Vortex was dealer direct? You can get an account with Eurooptic, sometimes it’s enough to resell and make a profit (and they have Vortex). None of my distros (Sports South, RSR, Davidsons, Zanders, CSS) carry Vortex.

Vortex is direct to dealer. They require a large minimum order ($25k?). This is valid as of maybe a year ago.

I use Lipsey’s, RSR, DSG, and Zanders mostly. I have contacted Vortex directly and their dealer program was just ridiculous.

Are you a veteran? A member at expertvoice? They have 40% off most scopes. Great site with deep discounts covering a variety of things.

He's not looking for an individual discount, he's a dealer looking dealer pricing. Expertvoice and similar programs generally prohibit buying for resale.

Vortex does not sell through Distribution.
