Would someone recommend an iPhone scanning app?

rsboloWould someone recommend an iPhone scanning app?
I'm interested in an app that can easily scan a document to PDF and doesn't cost an arm & leg.
I don't really need to scan receipts or business cards and I'd rather not pay a crazy subscription. I'd probably scan 4-5 documents a month.

You just email the pdf when complete

rsboloI like the sound of free! I've been seeing apps with crazy monthly subscriptions that just don't make sense for my usage.
Thank you

K550I use "turbo scan", and believe the basic version is free; it has some nice functions, e.g. send to my email, email to others, etc; you can crop ad adjust the boarders, use or disable flash (docs turn out best WITH flash n my opinion, since you never have perfect lighting, and often times you will shadow your doc).

Pipe SmokerI got the “Pixter” app from the Apple App Store. It produces a text version of a document that you aim the phone at. Works pretty well. Was either free, or inexpensive – don’t remember which.

kkinaAnother free: apple Notes (already installed). Start a new note, then hit the circled "+" sign. There should be an option to "Scan Documents". Capture your document, and it will save automatically to a folder.

LargefarvaI use Scanner Pro. Been using it for years now so I don’t know if it’s free or not. It’s great, makes a pdf that you can’t even tell that it was scanned. If you scan something that has faint print that is hard to read it comes out perfectly legible and dark when it creates the pdf.

Same for me, it works great. Multi page documents you just keep adding pages til you're done and it's at least as good as and better than most physical scanners I've used.

Jimbo JonesIf you use Dropbox, the Dropbox iPhone app has a very good quality built in document scanner that will automatically sync to whichever folder in your Dropbox you select.

MikeinNCA lawyer turned me onto Genius Scan five or more years ago.
It's free
It's ridiculous simply and even. Even a Cop can operate it.
Can't tell you how many times I've used it.
I used to scan a police report and carry it to court. Print it or email it to a clerk and go from there.

rsboloThis is awesome. Thank you all.
I was reading reviews and looking at the choices and thinking, "who can I ask about this?" then it hit me! I have access to a terrific group of informed, intelligent people most of whom I trust.
Thanks guys!
