I have tried to load my avatars repeatedly, to no avail.
I am using photo bucket, and it is saved as a 60x60 pixel photo, but it keeps saying that the URL does not appear to be accessible.

What am I doing wrong?

I am not aware of having an account here.
You mentioned a user name of BMR, that means nothing to me.
I just picked up a P228 this week.
I have owned a P226 Legion SAO for a few years, but am not aware of ever setting up an account here before this week.

I looked up this BMR, that is not me.
In one post BMR posted something about size 11D boots, I wear size 13 or 14 and have since high school in the 1980s.

OK, well, you share an IP address with that account. It's possible it's an old IP address for the other account. It doesn't happen often, but it's possible.

Well, I got the same message as you. I seem to dimly recall that photobucket disallowed this type of use a while back. I found this reference in a forum, from 2017:

If that's not it, then the forum software may be having trouble parsing a URL with parentheses in it. Your file name is "Legion(1).jpg"

You might try resizing it to 60x60, renaming it to Legion1.jpg with no parentheses, reuploading it, and trying again.

Edit: The forum won't even let you embed that photo as an image. It doesn't recognize it as an image, likely because of the parentheses: [img]https://hosting.photobucket.com/images/i/ragnvalddavis/Legion(1).JPG[/img]

I considered the parentheses being the issue. Let me what restrictions I have on uploaded images for avatars.

Yeah, I took a look, and I've got it set to disallow any images larger than 60x60 pixels.

If you resize the image and uploaded the image to Photobucket, it may work, unless the old post I referenced is correct, in which case you would need to use a different photo hosting service.

I think my imgur link didn't work because I was accessing my account through my mobile app so I deleted my post. If I pulled the link using my desktop and the web browser it likely would work fine. Was going to try it once I was at my desk, but you seem to be sorted out now.

It took me ages to get my avatar to work. It now works. I have no idea where it is hosted, and I’m afraid to look because it was such a PITA with the photo hosting services.
