You read that article a bit too fast. Heather is still alive, she was communicating the information of a murdered, unnamed diplomat as part of her job.

Heather Nauert was not the person murdered. Victim was a U.S. Foreign diplomat.

Just read the link, it’s obvious that the article is referring to an unnamed diplomat - Heather is the person conveying the news.

There is absolutely nothing in that article that suggests she is dead. The article suggests something quite to the contrary as she is the person quoted about the death of another person.
