Looked all over the forum and I think there needs to be an area for (an example) acronyms. I know what MM stands for and EDC but where (other than Google search) could I find this information? You might catch a little ribbing, but someone will help you out. We have had some threads here on common acronyms, but I sure can't find them. Custom User Title. (mine is "A Grateful American"). Policy to award after ten years. (Think GCM) Para also grants them for various things you may do, often "good/witty". One time he offered CUTs to all who had participated in a particular thread. BTW, you have just been selected for a KARMA. Send me an email with your mailing address, and I will get it out in the mail to you. "KARMA"s are when folks choose to give an item to someone, there are no "real rules" except that if one "enters" a KARMA (a KARMA thread started by in individual) and fails to respond if they are selected as the "winner". Some members spell out the meaning following the acronym, if is unusual. Sometimes not. It can be annoying. You will learn with time.. Maybe ten years. LOL | |||
