Some threads got me thinking, is there a PW app that somehow imports your existing passwords or do they just create new ones for you? I’ve never really used one of these apps just the PW manager on my apple devices.

Thanks

You need to get the passwords in the password manager initially then it will remember them for you.

You can import from another password manager if you have one. Otherwise, you'll need to type them in the password manager the first time so it can remember it.

The password manager will not import from the websites directly.

You could export them from your Apple Keychain and then import them to a password manager.

Also, you can install the password manager and when you visit a site and enter a username and password to log in, most of the password managers will ask if you want to add it.
