Wildlife photographer Bobby Wummer shot this March 13 in South Florida.

There is better video on his Facebook page. Good nature photography.

Here's a big Gator from my local nature preserve:

I was on that road a couple of years ago, going from Naples to the Florida keys. We saw a number of gators, but not quite like that.

My daughter's kids came home from grade school last year, excitedly announced there was an alligator in the front yard.

My friend who lives in Naples hit one one night on that road. When he took us to the Keys he showed us about where he was when he hit one. We went to Key West and stayed for a day. There were 3 of us guys and our wives. Had a great time, saw some gators along the way.

Probably not the best place to let your kid out of the car to pee.

Yesterday I ate both fried gator and blackened gator. All that video did was make me want to fire up the fryer and have some boots made.
