NRA-ILA Alert - Colorado: Gun Control Legislation Being Rushed Through Legislature
A bill that would create "Extreme Risk Protection Orders" is being rushed through the Colorado legislature. This bill would allow someone to report you as a risk, and have your firearms taken away, without a hearing and little to no due process. The bill allows the confiscation of firearms through ex parte hearings where a person isn't given notice, nor a hearing.

There's a "Take Action" link in the NRA article, through which you can contact your state legislators to voice your opinion of the bill.

Looks like the democrat legislator is very pro-liberal teachers union. Many of his legislation is supporting the teachers. The republican is going along, riding the wave. The democrat lists his occupation as legislator.

The Denver area is pretty much a liberal bastion. Perhaps they will succeed from the state and join the liberal states of California.
