Do you say THANKSgiving or thanksGIVING?
It's not the second option because the accent wouldn't be on multiple syllables.

Me, too. Born and raised St. Louis. Don't know about other parts of Missouri. I think we pronounce a lot of things similar to native Californians of the same era. Also Nebraskans, I believe.
