I saw that once. I was riding from Vegas to Lone Pine on that route, stopped to take a leak and heard a loud whistle behind me. By the time I could turn to look, there were two F/A-18s banked at 90 deg. right below me in that canyon. No time to get my camera, but it was so awesome.

Not sure if its the same place; I recall watching a video from the front camera of an F-14D flying through a canyon. As I recall, the video was about 30 - 45 seconds though the first time I watched it, it seemed about twice that.
