When I was in the military in the early 60s, we had pup tents...on bivouac. I recall recently seeing tent city photographs. What would be wrong with establishing tent cities and have them in less desirable parts of the country? They could certainly have necessary sanitary facilities, mess halls and health centers. I think it would be a relatively inexpensive method of warehousing that many illegals. What thinks the collective mind? No quarter .308/.223

NOT in this country. Once their in - they are GONE. The ONLY answer is to keep them in Mexico.

Transportation has evolved to such an event that they would not stay nor would the ones that would exploit the week stay out. There are camp cities built by the government that stand empty .... But the constant care and policing of these camps do not have funding. I'm not a hard azz but ....death of ppl is not a BAD thing ....it's called life. Being cursed to live in an area where it's too hot, too cold, unable to support life ....you die off .... Also includes an area controlled by killers. Sucks for them. It could suck for me/us in less than 6 months if the Dominos fall just right. Part of that fall begins with over burdening of our system.

Yes. Once here, they disperse. Keeping them in tents, on the border, would be better than letting them disperse throughout the country, but I agree: The ONLY answer is to keep them in Mexico. That said, we are still up against the forces of insurrection as witnessed by yet another hack-in-black judge who has blocked the Trump administration's policy of rapid repatriation back across the Mexican border: Judge Blocks Trump Administration Policy Of Returning Asylum Seekers To Mexico https://www.dailycaller.com/20...-immigration-mexico/ "Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." -- Justice Janice Rogers Brown "The United States government is the largest criminal enterprise on earth." -rduckwor

I don't understand this ruling. They are safe in a country offing financial assistance, state IDs, and permission to work. All of this is available to them right this second in Mexico. Did the people who have migrated to Mexico for a better life (work opportunities/less violence) have whatever they are fleeing follow them to Mexico? They are no longer in danger of lack of employment in their home country or the violence of their home country while in Mexico. Isn't the purpose of asylum to seek refuge from your oppressors? I'd argue they are safe in Mexico. Also let's not forget poverty and violence are not legitimate reasons to seek asylum. Asylum has two basic requirements. First, an asylum applicant must establish that he or she fears persecution in their home country. Second, the applicant must prove that he or she would be persecuted on account of one of five protected grounds: race, religion, nationality, political opinion, or particular social group. Complete BS. Not valid claims because they don't qualify in their home country, yet alone while in a country that is safe of their BS claims. Once they set foot on US soil they don't leave. Let them apply at ports of entry, get a court date and return for court date. Jesse Sic Semper Tyrannis

Yeah...both of these. Feel free to set up as many pup tents as you want, but keep them on the MEXICO side of the border. I'm a heartless, cold bastard. And DAMNED proud of it!! "If you’re a leader, you lead the way. Not just on the easy ones; you take the tough ones too…” – MAJ Richard D. Winters (1918-2011), E Company, 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne "Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil... Therefore, as tongues of fire lick up straw and as dry grass sinks down in the flames, so their roots will decay and their flowers blow away like dust; for they have rejected the law of the Lord Almighty and spurned the word of the Holy One of Israel." - Isaiah 5:20,24

The proper way to handle this will not be allowed by the courts. Anyone found in the US illegally should be immediately and summarily deported. No asylum claims from anyone in the country illegally would be accepted.

Tents are inhumane unless it's our own citizens living homelessly in such a manner. It's really tiring watching this ideology that we are responsible for giving illegals something. I am rather harsh on this topic. Do communist countries have an illegals problem...not too much. When a few waves of them get their asses handed to them, word gets around that free shit isn't free. I realize I speak of a dream as our government will never do what needs to be done.

Wrong choices. How about. 1. During times of mass invasion defend our boarders against a foreign invasion. With illegal boarder crossings under control, with minimal illegal crossings. 2. Come in legally. 3. Do not cross a countries boarder illegally. 4. Commit a crime, i.e. crossing a countries boarder illegally Option 1 Deportation. Option 2 Jail and then Deportation. “We’re in a situation where we have put together, and you guys did it for our administration…President Obama’s administration before this. The Wall. Now. Instead of thinking about how to deal with a problem, it is better to just eliminate the problem. Of all the enemies the American citizen faces, the Democrat Party is the very worst.

How about treating this as an invasion of a hostile force. Use the military to protect the border from an invasion of a foreign nation. “Government exists to protect us from each other. I think it is a waste of breath and time to think we will stop this invasion anytime soon. We would be better off pushing for voter id so the illigits can't vote. I'm not too sure that can be done either.
