Really? How about they operate like a 'real' company and have people drink on their own time off property, or is that too much to ask Emily? For Christ sake, my uncle (a GC) wouldn't even let contractors or subs drink on construction sites after hours. And most of those people never graduated high school. ----------------------------- Guns are awesome because they shoot solid lead freedom. Every man should have several guns. I've drank in my office before, pour a drink in the conference room for a client. Heck we even rented out entire restaurants and the company paid for the booze. An award I recieved involved a very expensive dinner and a $15,000 wine tab for about 30 people. Another company I worked for brought a couple of cases of beer for softball games, another bussed us somewhere for paintball and gave us liquor. As for the fishing trip, well I won't tell that story. Now that I'm blue collared I'd be fired instantly, but if you're white collar, its perfectly acceptable. Jesse Sic Semper Tyrannis

That depends. Back in the 1980s the medical staff meetings included prime rib, lobster and all the liquor you cared to drink. The attendance was pretty good. The parties were huge events with live bands and free booze. Not any more. Even the pharmaceutical meetings have cut that out. I am glad to hear that somewhere in the world it is still the 1970s.

I used to work there but have never been on the roof! Guess what, we kept booze at EPA HQ also! Oh my word!

The 1st headline on FoxNews read: "SHTUP on the Roof" - I caught the screen shot and need to figure how to post it here. Looks like the editors caught it and was quickly changed. Still disappointed Fox would post it in the 1st place-more and more tabloid than news every day. "No matter where you go - there you are"

You win the interwebs for the day. LMAO... "If you’re a leader, you lead the way. Not just on the easy ones; you take the tough ones too…” – MAJ Richard D. Winters (1918-2011), E Company, 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne "Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil... Therefore, as tongues of fire lick up straw and as dry grass sinks down in the flames, so their roots will decay and their flowers blow away like dust; for they have rejected the law of the Lord Almighty and spurned the word of the Holy One of Israel." - Isaiah 5:20,24

Ok, I will grant you it is inappropriate and should not be done on the job. In the White House. On the roof. That said, Americans get way too overheated about the occasional BJ. People screw, hump, blow and grope. Everywhere. All the time. The Mile High Club comes to mind immediately. Does anyone really think the WH is a sex free, alcohol free (and very possibly Ganja free) zone? Punish the offenders but dont make it a media event. I would be willing to bet it wasn't ganja free during the previous administration; especially the Oval Office and the Executive Residence. .
