Suggestions for Camera Bag
Once again consulting the all knowing oracle of knowledge that is SigForum. I need a new camera bag. Requirements are to hold my Nikon D7100 and 3 lenses, one of which is my big daddy 200-500mm zoom, monopod and a water bottle.

I've got a Lowa medium sized sling bag which has served me well. But attaching a lens case on the outside for the 200-500 is proving to be not a good solution. Looking for a, "Daypack" or sling solution but I'm guessing with the amount of gear a daypack is more practical. Need something I can carry, throw in the truck take on a boat, etc.

Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure if this is what you need.

We have a small bag with their "hammock". So far the bag has held up well over the years and the hammock makes the camera easy to access.

I really like my think-tank, originally bought it for m43s but now use it for my Canon Full Frame.

Been using the same one going on 8 or 9 years.

Another vote for Domke. I have had mine for over twenty years, and it still holds up, and holds everything.

Thanks for the suggestions. I went downtown to Stewart’s Photo today and picked up my this;

https://www.tenba.com/en/products/axis-24l-backpack

It checks all of the boxes and has a system for rigging the tripod on the outside of the bag. I used a Tenba shoulder bag for years with my 35mm SLR’s and it worked well. I have no doubt this will hold up just as well.

Besides, there was a parking space big enough for me to parallel park my pig of an F-150 in right in front of the shop. For those not familiar, this does not happen in downtown Anchorage in summertime. I took that as a sign I should buy the bag from them...

Excellent choice, Tenba. I have been buying their bags for about 30 years now.

Peak Design makes some nice bags in different sizes. I'm happy with mine.

I was going to chime in and say "Domke" but it looks like I'm too late. Smile

Simple, and you make the inside what you want.

I like Tamarac bags.

I have one that carries two extra bodies, and a bunch of lenses.
