Family on TV again, 6 o'clock news this time
A few years, about a second of footage of my family looking at RVs at a local RV show showed up in an RV commercial. It was enough that several friends called is to let us know. Well, tonight my wife, daughter, and sister-in-law made the 6 o'clock news:

That's my wife, front and center, daughter back right, and sister-in-law back left.

I didn't do anything to the footage. That's what the news station showed and I took a picture of what was on my TV because I thought it was kinda funny. I shared it on the forum thinking others might get a chuckle out of it.

The story was about a big BMX race and people being out and about despite COVID. It had nothing to do with my family. My wife, daughter, and SIL were shopping in downtown Punta Gorda and happened to walk past a news crew. My wife actually commented she didn't want to be on TV and the person said not to worry because he only got their feet.

Here's a link: Thousands gather for BMX tournament in Punta Gorda

Their appearance is at about 1:06.

Maybe the complete randomness of twice being on TV for no real reason isn't funny.

Here's a picutre of the first time:

OK thanks. I was just sort of confused. That clears it up.

Congratulations for the second appearance. Now, where are those kids getting their tires? I have been having a hell of a time finding some decent 20x1.75 tires.

I suspect they get them at the track. It's on the way to my oldest's school so I passed by it 4 times on Friday while races where going. It was absolutely packed with vendor RVs at the track, the giant parking lot across the street was full, and a 10 acre vacant lot just down the street was full as well.
