I've been trying to find someone else dumb enough to want this stuff - I haven't competed in 10 years.

Not sure if this is the right place, but if anyone wants Atlas stones up to 400#, thick bars, farmers walk implements and handles, and a viking press/yoke combo, let me know.

I have a chain as well, but I use that as a disc weight - if you suggest something cheaper, you can have the chain too.

This is all the the TX Hill Country

If it were closer to Houston/Katy, a coworker of mine would possibly be interested.

Perhaps someone in this group would like to pick up your equipment.

Now there's a great marketing angle!

You can't truly call yourself "peaceful" unless you are capable of great violence. If you're not capable of great violence, you're not peaceful, you're harmless.

My oldest son has been getting into weight lifting both at home and school. I don't know what the equipment is you are describing but I'll ask him.
I'm just outside of Columbia SC also.

Free shipping? Big Grin

That'll all fit in a flat-rate box, right?

HS athletes will not have the strength to use some of it. I don't know if there are still any college programs. I talked to A&M, and their weightlifting/powerlifting coach didn't want it, as it might be a distraction.

I'm looking for a weights helmet. To strengthen my neck. Both my shoulders have issues which exercises do not seem to help but I'm working the core.

Please clarify, is the equipment in TX or Myrtle Beach, SC? If it's SC, I'd be interested. We've got a few strong man implements at my gym but not many (farmers carry handles and a log press, used to have a few stones till the owner of the stones moved away). Several people I know would love to do more strong man style exercises at the gym.

If only I were closer I’d pick it up.

I’m sure a local CrossFit place would take it. My cross fit place has built all their own stuff for strongman.

This. I remember helping the gym I was at pour a bunch of atlas stones for a comp. Was a stupid messy project.

In general, they won't have anyone strong enough for the heavy stuff. I want it to go to someone who can use it.
