A B-17 with a Norden Bombsight has got nothing on a Blue Heron!
My wife was driving home from the store this morning when she looked up and saw a heron flying a couple of hundred feet above her. She said she thought "Oh, cool, a Heron!" and then...blam! The thing took a giant dump all over the moving car, from altitude! Absolutely direct hit!

She cleaned the winshield and rear window/trunk lid before I got to take a picture, but I was really impressed by the payload and the accuracy, and figured I had to share with you guys. That's all from one bird!

Shit, that sucks.

On the other hand, be glad she didn’t an A-10 fly overhead.

Had one of those in college, but didn't see it happen.
Went out to my car after work & looked like someone poured a quart of white paint down the roof & windshield.
Guess there was 1 un-extinct pterodactyl flying around SW Houston that day.

Luckily I worked for a dealership with a decent carwash.

We turned the boys loose on it with the hose. Not quite as effective as a car wash, but it was free. And they thought it was fun becuse what 10/12 y/o boy doesn't like a good poop story, and they got to play with the hose lol.

I have a buddy of mine who has quite a bit of money and enjoys showing off. On a trip to Florida, we rented an economy car. He rented a Mustang convertible.
While cruising top down, a Pelican shit on him. Made quite a mess, which delighted us!

That was a helluva sight more accurate than anything using a Norden bomb sight.

Try a brown pelican.

Because of what they eat, their poop tends to be very damaging to paint.

While in the Navy, we went out to sea for a week (training was out on early Mondays, back in late on Fridays) and a couple guys parked their vehicles under a parking lot light.

When we got home on Friday their vehicles has BP Shit on the roofs and hoods. When the poop was washed off the next day, paint came off with it.

Even though the BPs were not hitting a moving target (or moving and hitting a stationary target), the ability to find every opportunity to sit on the lamp post when a vehicle was underneath was impressive to say the least

A neighbor of mine when I was a kid had worked on the development of the Norden Bombsight. Even ten years after the War, he wouldn't talk about it.

The geniuses who installed our utilities managed to locate the closest utility pole so the wires feeding our house run right up the middle of the driveway. Every bird known to roost in my zip code finds these perches very convenient to do their daily "duty," some, I will suggest, who must have a very short (but wide) alimentary tract based on the frequency and quantity of deposits. Guano anyone?

Next to the driveway is the vegetable garden where accumulations of this stripe would be welcome, but, nooooo, it has to be on the cars parked there under. Is there a racing division that mandates a white racing stripe down the center line of its entries?

So many questions!

Why doesn't Murphy ever take a day off? Shouldn't we declare a National Holiday to encourages such?

Just for future reference:
14yo boys like electric pressure washers and foam cannons.

Use a spray gun instead of the wand.

Sure you did but be sure to use some cleaning products for automobiles on that shidt, it will eat paint, nothing like a bunch of clear coat damage...

It's a 12 year old Mazda 3, and my wife drives it. The paint is the least of it's worries. They did use car wash soap and a brush, though.

I don’t believe a Norden bomb sight would be nearly as accurate against a moving target. Hope it cleaned up ok

I got nailed at about 10yo in a duck blind with my Dad. By a Sandhill Crane! He laughed so hard I was worried he wouldn't recover. I really didn't see that much humor in the situation...

I imagine that a Sandhill has at least as much payload capacity as a Heron, if not more. I'll bet that was something to see, I don't blame your dad at all, lol!
