Dan Price resigned his position at Gravity Payments.

https://hotair.com/john-s-2/20...-a-dark-turn-n491461

Price is the Seattle CEO of Gravity Payments who made a lot of news when he announced he’d be paying his employees a minimum of $70,000 each and cut his own salary from just over a million dollars a year to $70,000.

But then Price used his social media to meet women who are now claiming he sexually assaulted them.

"Price used his fame as a social justice campaigner to make contact with nearly all of the women who accuse him of assault"

https://www.nytimes.com/2022/0...gn-social-media.html

After responding to questions earlier in the day from The New York Times, Mr. Price tweeted that he had resigned on Wednesday evening as chief executive of his company, Gravity Payments. He wrote that he had become a “distraction” and needed to “focus full time on fighting false allegations made about me.”

Mr. Price’s internet fame has enabled a pattern of abuse in his personal life and hostile behavior at his company, interviews with more than 50 people, documents and police reports show. He has used his celebrity to pursue women online who say he hurt them, both physically and emotionally. Ms. Margis is one of more than a dozen women who spoke to The New York Times about predatory encounters with Mr. Price.

In his statement to The Times, Mr. Price said he had “never physically or sexually abused anyone,” and that “the other accusations of inappropriate behavior towards women in this story are simply false.”

Well the good thing is he only makes $70K a year so the amount of money he'll have to pay out to the alleged victims won't be based on his old salary

If the New York Times says he is guilty, that is good enough for me.

Crucify the bastard.

My thoughts as well.

Amazing what passes for journalism these days. HE IS GUILTY AS SIN!!!...................interviews and documents show.

Roll Eyes

It'd be interesting to see the actual complaints from the alleged victims of this horrible horrible man. Likely women who are just pissed he didn't give them more than 70K.

I kid you not, God forbid if I ever found myself single, I’d require a signed release form before sexies, and I’d require a video of it being signed. You know, to prove it wasn’t signed under duress.

Of course I’d probably do it the way I did it originally. The sex release would be a marriage license. They usually don’t throw a married dude in jail for sleeping with his wife… yet.

Luckily, there's an app for that.

Now that he's resigned, do everyone in the company get a pay bump from his share?

This has been a long time coming. It's been a minute, but if I recall he originally did that pay increase for all his workers right about the time he had some shenanigans with his brother, I think. There were some rumblings of him being less than stellar otherwise too, but the Usual Suspects didn't care, he's a rich leftist, who hated Trump, and the right in general. For a hot minute there, he was like the hero, couldn't go seven minutes without your dipshit lefty aunt on Facebook posting memes and the like from and about him, you could smell the musk through your screen, he was a "Patriotic Millionaire" Roll Eyes

And then it all just kinda dropped off, and people forgot about him, and now we know why.

Good rule of thumb: The bigger the virtue signal, the bigger the scumbag making it.
