Two incidents in the last two days have really brought up a contrast between Sigforum members and the public at large, and on other forums.

I was working in the gun shop yesterday. A regular customer's tax stamp had come in, and the manager was giving him his suppressor, and supplying him with the pistons, etc he would need to use the equipment on the various guns he bought it for. The customer is a stone rookie at suppressors, so it took a while. Another customer wanted to see the manager and was quite impatient, quietly but rudely cursing the "newby" out, so only I could hear, for his ignorance. I eventually was able to distract the disgruntled customer, but I really lost respect for the guy.

This morning I was having problems loading some 365 mags, so I googled the problem and ended up on another forum. The answers other people, members there, were rude and insulting, apparently designed to make the guy asking the question feel stupid.

I really appreciate that, on this forum, I never see anyone treating another member disrespectfully or with contempt.

Y'all are great. Thanks!

BTW, the mag loading tool Beretta including with the APX worked great on the 365 mags.

If you're goin' through hell, keep on going.
Don't slow down. If you're scared don't show it.
You might get out before the devil even knows you're there.

Agreed. It’s a rare thing where I see outright rudeness here, and if so, it’s usually premeditated.

I abandoned another forum a couple of years ago. Not only were some of the members like you describe, there was an undertone of white supremacist leanings. While the moderator(s) made statements that the behavior would not be tolerated, they were feckless.

I came here and never looked back!
