She's correct, the gezzers with signs of demential need to be sent home. McConnell, Feinstein and Biden should be shelved.

When the president of the US ends a speech with "where am I, where is he" and has a wife literally dragging him away from media reporters one can only imaging how many other screwed up things he's doing we don't know about.

Prior to 1900, life expectancy was well under 70, so...there's that.

This issue has very little to do with age, and everything to do with competency.

My oldest brother is almost an octogenarian (just turned 79, only a little younger than these senators or the president), and is still sharp mentally, So age, taken alone, is not the whole problem.

Yes, it really is about competency. I'm in the minority I suppose, as I really don't have a problem with very aged members of the Senate. After all, the word senate derives from Latin essentially meaning old man or senior.

Just as I'm very much opposed to term limits, I'm also opposed to upper age limits. Take Chuck Grassley for instance. Dude's damn near 90 if he isn't already, and I'm happy we still have him in there, him being one of the very conservative members we have.

Having said all that, it really is time for the next generations to step up and lead this country. Those who are incapable of serving competently anymore such as Mitch, Diane Feinstein, Biden for chrissakes, need to bow out gracefully instead of ultimately being forced out against their will due to failing mental faculties. This gross inclination to hold onto power above all else is truly the mark of a misguided, narcissistic character.

We should remove every possible enticement to stay more than 1 term for the elected offices.

Let people serve the country then return to their lives to let others serve.

My Dad is 99 years old, he'll be 100 on January 30. He had a medical setback about three months ago, and as a result he is not as sharp as he was. But before that he was sharp as a tack. I think it is very difficult to set an age limit that will be "good to go" for everyone.
