Congrats! We just had our 31 year anniversary yesterday. Gonna go out tomorrow to celebrate. I consider myself a very lucky lady to have my wonderful husband. We are friends and always try to talk about everything with each other...

Congrats. My bride and I married in 1952 on a major holiday, oct 26. What holiday, the Gun Fight at OK Corral. That was our first. Later we got married in a Synagogue by two Jewish Chaplains. Still together.

She is native born and raised German, with all that goes with that!!!!

We had some "interesting" times the first few years. Maybe my spending more than half my time away from home for the first 8 years had something to do with that. Being in commo and the 3rd AD in Germany back in the years between 1958-1966 was a pretty stressful time. Once I totaled up the time I spent away from home and family and it came to 74%.

Fortunately, she could spend much of that time with her family. We both miss her mom and dad a LOT!. I got closer to them than to my own family back here in the states.
