It’s tough to loose a great friend. I’m sorry for your lose.

My condolences on your loss. DM is a horrible disease and I had to put to sleep my first two GSDs due to it. Both dogs gave me a look of "thank you for stopping my suffering" (got something in my eyes, reliving those moments). I felt so bad at the time I swore I would never get another GSD. Both of my current GSDs have been DNA tested and are free of DM.
Again, condolences from me, Savannah, and Aramis. This message has been edited. Last edited by: jsbcody,

My condolences. Dap was a beautiful dog. Having just put down one of my pets recently, I can know how you feel. It sucks, but we do eventually get over it.
Thank you all, this one really hurt. I’ve been through this 3 other times but watching my 16 year old daughter mourn has been tough. On the positive side we are on vacation on the cape and she’s with friends and we are all pretty busy.
I stayed back home Monday night after Dap departed with my 3 year old female Shepherd and she spent the night looking for him. She kept going to his spots both inside and outside and she slept on his bed. She’s back in the kennel and they said she’s doing well playing with the other dogs boarded there.

Hedley Lamarr: Wait, wait, wait. I'm unarmed. Bart: Alright, we'll settle this like men, with our fists. Hedley Lamarr: Sorry, I just remembered . . . I am armed.
