You've probably all seen it. If not here's a link.

I'm wondering how the View is going to spin this. I can see Joy Behar's down turn mouth as she proclaims this is taking advantage of an illness to advance a political cause. I'll hold my comments until when she does this or something similar.

Nice family commercial, but imo, doesn't say much else. His ad should be about Florida and the individual stories of the people that he works for.

WOW! Very emotional.

Who a person is makes a HUGE difference and is an indicator of how they approach their job/duties.

Libtards should be VERY afraid of him.

This is why that ad was run:

Fla. Gov. Ron DeSantis was with his wife as she underwent cancer treatment during a recent COVID-19 surge in his state, his spokesman said.

Casey DeSantis, 41, was diagnosed with breast cancer in October and underwent treatment Thursday, the governor’s spokesman told Fox News.

The same day critics slammed DeSantis as being “missing” while his state was dealing with increased coronavirus cases.

Jerry Demings, the Democratic mayor of Orange County, slammed DeSantis last week, saying Florida residents “should be outraged” with DeSantis not being seen publicly as coronavirus cases spiked.

“And they should ask the question, ‘Now, where’s our state? Where’s our governor?'” Demings said. “Where is Ron DeSantis now? When was the last time you saw the governor do a press briefing regarding COVID-19?”

Other critics, including Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., piled on on social media, accusing him of being “inexplicably missing.”

“Hasn’t Gov. DeSantis been inexplicably missing for like 2 weeks,” Ocasio-Cortez wrote in a tweet during a visit to Florida. “If he’s around, I would be happy to say hello. His social media team seems to have been posting old photos for weeks.”

Exactly. This.

AND — In the face of all his competence in running the state and his take-no-prisoners demeanor, she points out (albeit from a thankfully biased perspective), that he is a good and decent husband.

Great ad.

Yes and when the story broke where he was the critics looked pretty petty.

While i understand your point, there have already been many different ads run so far that highlight what he has done as governor as well as his military service. This ad is just one more aspect in a well run campaign that will reach a different type of voter. I expect to see ads soon that include the response to Ian.

I've wanted DeSantis for President for several years now. He is the man that will clean out the DOJ and FBI. I think he has the potential to reshape the Federal Govt that no Republican has been able or willing to do. After watching DeSantis's press conference before the hurricane I was somehow even more impressed.

Love this ad. Just change A few things and re-shoot if for his president run. She’s no slouch at public speaking herself. She was a Local TV host and news reporter

I’m in the panhandle so we are already about 75% republican by my estimate and I see Desantis signs and shirts everywhere. I have never seen a crist sign. And the only Biden signs you will see have FU** Biden on them.

There is a few signs around for the lady running vs Gaetz. Even with his problems he’s gonna torch her by 20 points at least.

He also needs to run ads about getting the Causeway up less than 14 days after it was destroyed in five places.
