Coincidence?

There was an article in The Freeman Newspaper on banks and CDs, bank cards etc.

The day before I had cashed a couple CDs, and had a sizable check in my hand. Which I then took to Summit Credit Union on Sunset Drive. WELL, I was told by the manager (Boss I assume) she would not take it? And to get out - such venom I have never witnessed.

Well, went to another bank, and had no trouble. Now it is time to purchase a new car as I don't drive any more and main squeeze needs reliable transportation for the winter. While at the new Bank I set-up a new account and all went perfect.

Now the Real trouble begins.
Seems that I want my other accounts out of Summit, so I was told to go back to Summit and get the rest of my savings.
No way that's gonna happen.

A bit about myself. WWII Vet, served at Los Alamos Manhattan Engineering district.
Came out and work as a Stationary Engineer.
Then went to Local 139 and was Union Rep. that settled the 1960 strike.

Later worked for Koehring Engineering as Crane Hoe Test Operator.
Later joined Local 494 as Electrician (licensed).

Was a union member all my life. I admit I voted for whoever I wanted and seldom voted as the union wanted. I'm told I am out of step with the new Politically Correct world. But I refuse to follow the brain damaged crowd, and will continue to go my way.

Numbers-count, words are BS.

It would be nice if I could get out of Summit Credit Union without any more hassle. I don't see too well and I walk with a walker, so a bit slow. BUT not dead.

DAMN Credit Union. NEVER again. I never had a credit card till I was 50. Paid for everything - no credit reference. Never needed one. Still don't want one. I pay for what I need or I don't get it.

I'll leave this world to the brain damaged that watch TV. Okay, I watch Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune, when that stupid football doesn't get in the way. Other then that, it's a dumb box.

God Bless America.

NOW MOst folks know why I seldom post or carry phone
I know what I could in the forties Can only imagine what i could do today

Bitch out
but I would like my money even if I don't need it
I worked and saved like a kid in the 20's 30'

Contact the VA. Soldiers and Sailors Act may have some bearing, may not.

You are hated for what you have stood for your entire life.

Independence, determination and giving it your all.

Don't let those who have no idea what that means, steal your purpose and stand proud.

Banks don't want personal relationships anymore.

We are all just numbers, 0's and 1's to them,

Decisions all made by computer algorithms, you fit the mold and check the boxes or you don't.

They want you to be the teller, manager, and cook, use your phone, use the app, go online, scan it, digitally sign it, don't see a human.

Actually had a manager tell me if I didn't like the fact that BOA only had one teller working and the line was not moving I could use the app.

Stupid shit didn't understand that corporate had programmed him to tell customers they don't need him, the teller or the branch, use the app. I did get kudos from other business people in the line, since they shut down the drive through teller job... We're all inside.

He was working himself out of a job and not smart enough to know they had programmed him to market his demise as a plus.. Snoflake...

0's and 1's, lights and switches, no heart in banking....

If you truly want to make a fuss

https://www.wdfi.org/fi/cu/

Here is where you file complaints

Veterans are a protected class,

Go to both websites and look around, you may have additional grounds to file a complaint.

You can really ruin some snowflakes day if you bring the government down on their head.
