When I tell others why MRAPs aren't good for them I'm told it's because I hate them. So I suppose we can now add CAP to the list of those I hate. MRAPs are a tool designed for a specific job. As has already been pointed out they do not perform that great for tasks outside of that purpose. You would be better off with a vehicle that was indeed designed for what you're wanting to use it for. M1037 would be a better choice if it must be military in origin. | |||

I agree with the consensus, you probably cant afford a “free” MRAP. Cost may not even be a factor without a mechanic to work it and a source of parts.
