I use the system Costco sells. 6" fit my gutter and I installed them by myself about 3 years ago on a ranch style house. Work great keeping my pin oak leaves out.
I installed the costco ones last year. I never had a ton of leaves in the gutters but just enough to cause a blockage. I did not have to clean the gutters this year.
The one thing I did noticed is they cause icicles. It appears to be a pretty common issue with the mesh guards.

Lord VaalicWhy can none of the companies just give you a price per linear foot for these?

I'm liking these so far, anyone used them?

I'm happy with my Costco guards but these from Lowe's look to be better. Same concept but I'll bet the solid ridges in the middle help keep pine needles and other junk out. All I have to deal with is an old pin oak and I've been through 4 leaf seasons with zero problems.

I do like Costco, even have a Costco Visa card. I'll be using Lowes for two reasons, Veterans 10% discount and I have $300 in gift cards

ranger312Yes, I put these on a few years ago. Make sure you get the "new & improved" version with the "ridges" like you show in your picture. The original ones were just flat and water would sometimes run over in a couple of places. I replaced a few pieces with the new style ones and that fixed the issue. I have a lot of small locust leaves and they don't get stuck at all. Don't have any pine trees so no experience there.

Blume9mmMy answer won't help... house was built in the 40's with no over hang and so needed gutters. Lots of trees and so in the Fall, having to clean them about every two weeks....
Solution... install 2ft over hang with new metal roof and no gutters.

Elk HunterI installed them on our house here in N. Virginia. Our lot is completely wooded with large deciduous trees. IOW, we get lots of leaves.
They gutter guards work very well. Not that expensive, and easy to install.
We would have a real problem with clogged gutters without them.
