-360 days for me. On April 14,2027 I'll be 72 and I'm done! Can't wait!
Now if the wife retires before then I'll retire too.

7,264 days since I retired from the USAF.
79 days since I retired from DoD Civil Service.

If I’d known all the projects my wife was planning I might have kept on working. Eek

I've always said with certainty of that and tax rates in the future I can plan my retirement strategy with much greater precision and success.

Somehow, you've manage to break the code on one of those!!!

Now, that I have only 5,374 days left to live instead of the 20,600 days I had when I was twenty years old, I'm making sure I'm getting the full value out of each day as I can with no regrets.

Rey HRH - Thank you for this reply. I do see your point.

Are you single? Is it a money thing? Motivation? Health? Curious for those of us fairly new at this.

I am alone, one living family member , plenty of money, I suppose I have no motivation , health is fair

As of today, 1 day. Retired yesterday. As many have said, "I should have done this years ago!"
