In 1963 I lived in an apartment in Richfield, right across I-494 from Met stadium.
Steve Cannon, a radio personality, then at KSTP, played a corny song on game days:
“We love the Vikings, from Our Hometown …”

It was probably 15 years later but I may have lived in those same apartments. The address then was Killebrew drive. We used to walk across Cedar ave and go to the games. Met my wife at Eddie Webster’s just off I494 and Cedar ave.
