I, too, had a severe cardiomyopathy with an unmeasurable ejection fraction; was on heart transplant list but survived (obviously). Now going on 15 years!

Green Highlander, I am very happy you are in such good hands. Electrophysiologists at Mass General and other Harvard-related hospitals are probably the very best; my former chief of cardiology, also a friend, was one such before he moved to Hawaii to be closer to his kids’ grandparents.
