Yep, It's been a long 8-9 days. Dipped into my ancient Tylenol supply to knock down the 102 fever and allow me to sleep. Just thought it was a bout of flu. That is until my steak and coffee started tasting like crap. Guess I got my diagnosis.

I had both of my elderly in-laws in the ER a couple of days ago for high fever and other flu like symptoms. The ER was packed with people sick from their Thanksgivings get togethers. They tested negative for both the flu and covid.
ER doctor called it bronchitis which is their generic term for any viral upper respiratory illness. Next day they were doing 90% better. Hopefully that you got over it as quickly.
