I could not agree more.
And I recognize they don't care - truly I do - but I don't care to ever set foot in either again in my lifetime.
For a while, both states felt like they cared more about bad guys than good. More recently I feel, not only are they cheering for the villain, they're actively making the good guys - citizens - victims.
I know there's a lot to see and do and a lot of history in both states, but it just can't outweigh the enormity of horseshit that flows out of these two places.

beltfed21Sounds like a court case. Auto liability, medical liability, and many others would seem to fall under their definition! Morons in NY government!

Truly, it is. For quite some time now, I have not considered New York and California to be part of the United States. They've morphed into some kind of insane totalitarian states. They are unrecognizable as being part of this country, and I mean that.
This action by New York is vindictive behavior, the kind of thing that might come down from an angry king.
Yup

220-9erWhile I think insurance to pay your legal bills should be perfectly legal, this (NRA policy and others) isn't really liability insurance like you have for a home or auto.
Traditional liability insurance is there to pay damages to your victims in an at fault accident or event. They pay for legal services just to protect themselves against an unjustified claim and to negotiate the amount for a justified claim.

nhtagmemberhow does the State of NY know that you have purchased an insurance policy?
and isn't that a contract between you and the carrier? What business is it of the State?
someone needs to sue these freaks into a deep dark hole from which they never emerge
