Would an Olight PL MINI Valkyrie be compatable with M&P9C?

Would an Olight PL MINI Valkyrie be compatable with a M&P9C (1st generation not M2.0)?

I tried google but I only see this light mounted on Glocks.

I haven't personally tried it, so I can't confirm the truth of it, but a post on Ar15.com states that the Olight PL Mini won't work on the 1.0 Compact or the 2.0 3.6" Compact.
