With mustard.

Oh God no!

Miracle Whip, salt, pepper, and fresh sliced onions.

I love the stuff. Don't much care for the flavored varieties (although the Portuguese sausage ain't bad) though. Just give me the plain old Spam and I'm happy.

I keep a case in my long term storage pantry, rotating it out from time to time.

The Jalapeno Spam is pretty good in a sandwich with tomato and mustard - lettuce is optional, as is mayo. (and that means real Best/Hellmann's may; not that salad dressing known as Miracle Whip).

Aloha,

My usual breakfast,

Spam(any flavor), eggs & rice.

Spam is also our go to Emergency ration during hurricane season.

Salty bologna

And somewhat "mushier".

I do not care for it, but lots of others do.

Spam sliced thinly and cooked crisply like bacon… I've never done it that way, but it sounds good – I'll try it, thanks for the tip. And my Breville Smart Grill, which cooks from both top and bottom, would be the perfect implement for that.

In what some might call a strange turn of events I had my first opportunity to try spam this morning. It had been fried nicely. It's not bad not something I'd seek out but not bad.

Sorry to say that after a recent spam thread here I decided to buy a can to see what all the hoopla was about. Fried some up. OMG it was terrible. Couldn't finish the can so it was tossed. I really do NOT see the attraction. Sorry but that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
