Israel is having to defend itself against daily missile attacks and Biden has our Army wargaming against the weather.

Two old Army sayings:

It ain't trainin' if it ain't rainin'!

It doesn't rain in the Army, it rains ON the Army.

Anyone else hoping that they wake up and the last two years were just a nightmare?

These people are insane. What's more frightening is that the military aren't pushing back. We'll be ripe for an ass kicking in the next 3.5 years at this rate.

Maybe they're getting ready to push back. Don't forget the letter from the 100+ retired flag officers.

Looks like the Army just went full retard...

The problem is that the 100+ retired flag officers are retired. Anyone left, with any power, has gone fully "woke" which is another word for soft. Obama began the purge. Trump put it on pause. Biden has pushed it into hyperspace.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

When I was in, or motto was "We kill people and break things."

We've come a long way from that mindset.

This is not surprising at all and it fits perfect with the new Sec of Defense and the military leaders.

At the end of drill weekend, after the safety brief the command staff droned on and on regarding the soldiers who needed to complete the white supremacist training. They by passed all the important stuff like weapons quals, advanced schooling, training opportunities etc..

The whole thing is becoming a joke..
Its like a rerun on TVland. I just turn it off and wait for the ass kicking that's a coming.

If we have another great war, one wonders how many deserters we will have because they are emotionally and/or physically ill equipped for what a war requires.

Climate change may very well create new threats and enemies...enemies we will have to shoot, bomb, and kill.

The good side of that coin is, you can shoot deserters...

We'll still see soldiers firing on Godzilla/Kaiju sized monsters with issued poodleshooters.

Bets?

It should be possible to turn a directive for reduced emissions and improved fuel efficiency to legitimate benefit. Not sure why the military would be focused on increased weather events.

Does this mean they won't launch missiles if there's an inversion layer or heavy smog day in the forecast?
