34° this morning with a high of 78° this afternoon. I don't live in the hot part of AZ. It was 84° in Jerome when I passed through on my motorcycle. On a run for essential supplies, of course.

100+ is fine with the low humidity. 108 and above is kind of hot. If you spend a lot of time in the car for work, it gets hot then. Pools feel like warm baths.

After my third year in the valley of the Sun stroke I found 102 and 103 very tolerable, 105 was hot and 107 was too hot. I worked out side for abou4 of the 9 hours of the work day.

Me too!
We had a 2 alarm fire in the morning and a 3 alarm fire that afternoon. That was fugly!!!
(The fires weren’t that “big” we just needed a BUNCH of bodies to rotate through the fire, then rehab)

It's the sacrifice we make for certain freedoms that many other states do not enjoy.

Part of the benefit is that the heat keeps the less hardy souls away.

It's brutal at times. Definitely lethal if not respected. And it's come early this year.

Be careful out there, fellow denizens.

100 is tolerable - I can sit in the shade at 100 with a cold drink and be quite comfortable reading

there is always a very slight breeze here in the canyon area

however, today its expected to hit 106

and yes, the heat has hit early this year by about three weeks but the past few days have been very nice

Please consider staying hydrated, these days. I came from the humid mid west, where we did not pay attention to the hydration needs.
I believe that the loss of kidney function is a portion of the result of poor hydration .

Where we live is not incorporated, but we do get our mail from the Wickenburg PO, and we have Wickenburg's zip code (they only have two, one for rural delivery, and one for PO boxes). The carrier does her turnaround about 1/4 mile further from our development. We jokingly refer to our location as South Congress, which is 10 miles due north of us.

We are about 50 miles from the west valley, but our elevation is about 1,000 ft higher. Our high temps are usually about 5-7 degrees "cooler" than Phoenix.

When in doubt, mumble
