Six things...

  • Non-descriptive titles
  • Providing a link with little else
  • No partial transcript of said topic
  • Three more things that I haven't referenced yet...

I was going to post that there was no way I was clicking on the OP's link without more info. But I was distracted. Came back to find others had weighed in appropriately.

The article is NSFW due to profanity.

The author, Mark Manson, is NOT a Trump lover and tends to the left. Overall, though, he's strongly Libertarian in the leave-me-alone-and-I'll-leave-you-alone sense.

His six things that he thinks are over-hyped by the media and that we should care much less about:

  • Mass shootings and terrorism

  • Saving the children

  • Steroids

  • Artificial intelligence killing people

  • STDs

  • Trump

    Thanks,

    Sap

  • Add to the list

  • what famous people are doing

  • most things related to sports

  • Much of the "homeless" population. (They get so damn many handouts, and I think the present system encourages them. Except for the mentally ill who are on the street. They're just screwed.)

  • most stories surrounding race, sexual preference, etc.

Shouldn't have to. They only rise from the grave on the morning of election day.

Since you can't find a Flammenwerfer I can only recommend a discount 50 cal.

Normally, I'd agree, but in this case, the title and post text fit the posted article perfectly.

Simply, No. People need to title their threads so as to inform other members what is posted within, and then do more than dump a link with no comment.

It's got to stop. You want to dump a link without comment? Do it on your facebook, twitter, tumblr, fumbler, bumblr, or anywhere else.
