That will be a VERY heavy bag.
LOL - that's a really good point!
Yep, and its something worth paying attention to. Carrying something that heavy for any distance or time is a major drag, especially as you get older. So in the 'getting smarter with age' category, I bought one of these
RIGID Pro Gear rolling boxes and slightly modded the interior to carry whatever I choose to take to the range. I also have one of
these that snaps on the top of the rolling box to carry an assortment of other stuff, including many times, food.

An added benefit of this rolling box is that it affords me a nice seat to sit on when we're out at a local friend's property shooting. But the best aspect of it IMO is that it doesn't scream 'gun' bag when its sitting in my truck.
Just another option you might consider.
That is a good set-up for carbine classes. Thanks for posting.

I have this one, it is Big. I probably should have gotten the Midway bag too. This one is really well put together with very nice heavy duty 600 denier polyester. YKK zippers. It is better built bag than the Midway, but not worth the (almost) 2x as much money. But I already have it, so....
I did once carry 8 pistolas along with a 22 conversion kit for a P220, and a large number of loaded mags in it for a road trip. Various sizes from a PPK to an FNP-45 to help familiarize a friend's son with handguns in excess of 22 caliber. It fit them all in soft sided sleeves with a good number of mags. Many of the mags were in those flat Midway zip up mag mules. The 22LR kit stayed in its hard case. It was
really heavy but then it only had to go to a vehicle and from that to a house on a hunting lease. Then back into the vehicle for the trip home. It also took 'Eyes and Ears' for two, and all the other crap one may want to drag to the field to deal with minor issues.
God yes, monstrous big.
I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all. -Ecclesiastes 9:11

rangeme101I've used this for 10yrs. It will get heavy. Never any issues. I use their rifle cases also. Very durable material. Kinda stiff at first but work in easily. Never an issue.
