Looking for some flashlight holster suggestions. Would prefer a covered model (flap), with a CLIP (not a belt loop) and not anything where the top or bottom of the flashlight is exposed. What is working for those that have them?

Fenix LD22; 1.5” belt width.

Thanks, Home Depot had those. I didn’t really care for the one size fits all elastic. Looking for something that is fitted to the Fenix, but their site doesn’t have a clip on version that I’m looking for.

I carry a surefire flashlight in a Blackhawk carrier. It's light, has never broken, and I carry mine inverted to prevent crud from settling on the bezel and lens. The carrier has a tension device that keeps the light from sliding out, but which allows it to be easily removed and replaced. I use it constantly. I don't believe they make the carriers in different diameters, though, so one would need a flashlight that would fit, rather than selecting a Blackhawk carrier to fit the light.

Have used an open top nylon holster for years.
I made a couple copies using leather. Snug enough that the light stays put and is easily accessible.
Design could easily be modified to install a belt clip instead of the belt loop.

Duluth Fire Hose work pants have a ton of pockets, several of which are a perfect parking place for a light, spare mag, knife, etc. Two of them are always open on top, but deep enough to retain the light. Others are covered by a flap, ideal for a phone, wallet, etc. These are all in the cargo pockets area. There are still two back and two front regular pockets, one of the front with a pocket inside of it.
