His name was Emrick and he was a good hang out dog, great with kids, and no one would question him.

His rear legs were giving out and he was losing control of his bladder. He would have to lay down and rest every 50 feet or so. He was all there mentally, still had his strong bark, but had so much trouble standing up. I gave him a good bath yesterday but I had to give him one again this morning before I took him in. I'm going to miss him.

Thanks,
KPSquared

My condolences.

Know that in the afterlife, there is a good hang out dog waiting for you.

My condolences, K Frown What a handsome pup Smile

What you're describing happened with Emrick was what was happening to my buddy of nearly nineteen years. He was still sharp. Still lookin' good. But he could barely walk. Had to have help in the litter box.

Beautiful dog and obviously a great companion. Sorry you're having to go through this - it always hurts to send a Fuzzy Friend over the bridge. Won't be long before I have to do the same.

I am sorry for your loss. Had to go through it last year.
Rest, recoup, and get back on the horse. Plenty of furry ones out there that need your love and saving.

This. We mourn the loss of the ones we love. We then find new love, by making the life of another better.

So sorry my SF friend.

The special bond is never broken.

The joy will return and so will the feel of that special bond in his memory as time march's on.

All the best and now he can really keep track and continue to protect you.

God bless.
