Help with a leaking dishwasher
We noticed water under our dishwasher, so we pulled it out, ran it, and saw water leaking out here (you can see a drip forming in the center of the picture):



Is this repairable?

Are you talking about the fitting where the white wire goes in? Are those for the heating element? Maybe that one can be tightened. It looks like it has a hex fitting.

You’ll probably get more specific advice if you provide the make/model.

Thanks. Yep, it's the heating element. Looks like the washer is not sealing properly. I tried tightening the nut, but that only made the problem worse. I ordered a new heating element with new fittings. That should do the trick.
