Given the political attitude in Germany concerning firearms, I am surprised that the company is still business there.
When I was stationed there (way back before dirt) the US military had regulations and controls that governed how the troops bought guns. They were sold in the PX's and gun clubs. It was really tough for a German civilian to buy a gun.
This whole idea of prosecuting the CEO is ludicrous, but that seems to be the general description of the current German system.
I have been married to a German for nearly 61 years, and still have family and friends over there, and they are not real happy with what is going on there.
