Craving that Technivorm Moccamaster coffee machine? More than $100 off regular price. Unfortunately, only the 40 oz. machine, the 60 oz. machine seems to be unavailable.
Obviously, lots of discounted prices. Most dash cams seem to be discounted about $100.

I bought a welding helmet off Amazon today. I thought it was a good deal.

I bought $500 worth of stuff on Amazon...three days ago. I didn't even know Prime Day was about to happen.

I'd call customer service and see if they'll give you a credit for a price adjustment. Otherwise, free returns and just reorder at the better price.

I always look but never end up buying anything significant. I just ordered a portable bluetooth speaker, some new earbuds, a new watch band and some Schick Hydro razer refills. Oh, and a silicone trivet for a Ninja Crispi power pod. I bought the Ninja Crispi last week from Costco and it was a better deal than on Amazon this week.

Okay, that is crazy. Of ALL the things you could've picked, you picked the coffee maker I was looking at.
I decided against it though. I really gotta have one that's got auto start.

I let my Prime membership expire, don’t miss it.
Dumb question, but is there much of a Bennie if one does not have the prime membership?

It's 8 minutes for a full pot, less for a half. You are allowed to put water and grounds in before going to bed.....

No.
I quit Prime last year and only sign up for a month at a time when I'm ordering something that will make joining for that month worth it. I signed up for a special offer in May for 3 months of Prime for $7.99 a month. So after this month I will quit again then wait for a time when I'm ordering something and they make an offer that makes it worth signing up for another month.

Best deal I saw was the Amazon Prime Visa card, through Chase.
During Prime Days, if you're a Prime member who applies and are approved, you get a $250 Amazon gift card balance applied immediately to your Amazon account.
Just for applying and being approved. No minimum purchase requirements like you usually see attached to these kind of deals.
And there's no monthly fees.
So you apply for the card, pocket the $250 in Amazon funds, and then never use it. (Or only use it for the occasional Amazon purchase or monthly Amazon/Audible/etc. recurring payment, and pay it off every month.)
Free money.
Provided you have the self-control not to splurge and buy stuff on credit that you can't afford to pay off immediately. (Which is how they're going to make their profit... From all the folks who don't have that self control and apply to get the $250, then end up buying a bunch more on credit and carrying it over month to month at 28% interest.)
So if you have that self control, as well as good credit, that Technovorm coffee maker could be $350 off.

Sweet - thank you. I had an Amazon store card and was getting the 5% back, but the extra $250 on top of that is awesome!

^picked up a few things I needed/wanted on Tuesday (8000 btu portable A/C unit). And this evening I picked up Samsung 7 watch 1/2 off and already had $12 Amazon points at checkout. It's the only card I use. Groceries and gas also give me points but they get applied to my account pretty quick.

That still requires me to get up and hit said button.
Oh, and the pot/carafe was only 40oz.

The only thing I bought that was a "prime day deal" was a radio for my car for $150.
Been looking at it for a couple weeks and trying to figure out what the differeance was between it and another one that was $200.
I still have no Idea what the difference is, but I do know that it has been the same $150 for the entire two weeks I have been looking at it. The "prime day deal" was for 20% off of a price that it never was.
Yeah.... they fake marked up the price then discounted it to the price it has been the entire time.

I got one last year and only use it for Amazon purchases, be amazed how those points/cash add up.

Best thing about amazon prime days is that every retailer in the country runs sales to combat it. Grabbed a HP Pavilion that was $1,200 when I looked at it 2 weeks ago for $499 directly from HP.This message has been edited. Last edited by: pace40,
