PHOENIX - Phoenix police say they’ve arrested a man who allegedly kicked a can of tear gas at officers after the President Trump rally earlier this week. Police shot the man with a pepper ball moments after he kicked the canister.

Police say 29-year-old Joshua Cobin has been arrested on three counts of aggravated assault on police and one count of unlawful assembly.

Police say Cobin had posted photos and admitted to the incident on social media before he was located and arrested.

Four other people were arrested Tuesday night during the protests. Two were arrested for aggravated assault on an officer, one for an outstanding warrant, and one for disorderly conduct.

Hopefully these sort of arrest continue and judges are appointed who appreciate law and order vs. catch and release.

These "protesters" thugs & rioters think it is all fun and games.

A lot of "Sheriff Joe" Time would possibly do this pinko a favor!

Hopefully, Bubba will be in the cell to make him feel all better.

It's apparently much more common than you would imagine. Facebook and similar have become very valuable resources for law enforcement.

If criminals were smart, they probably wouldn't be criminals to begin with.

My BIL does interviews for a local department. He disqualifies over 50% of applicants from social media alone.

I think if one shows up to a "protest" armed with a gas mask, I would hope a savvy DA would tack on some kind of charge for "premeditated intent"...you legal buffs can put that in legaleeze speak. Just something else to add to the charge to teach these butt-wipes a further lesson.

Wonder if the police told him to nut up when they were arresting him?

I agree with the too many laws part, but why wouldn't it be?

If an officer struck you with his baton, dropped it, and you picked it up and hit him back isn't that criminal? I don't see this as any different. The police issued a lawful order, and when that order was ignored lawfully used less than lethal options to disperse the crowd. Tossing it back at the officers is and should be unlawful.
