Carbohydrates...how I miss thee
^^ That's too bad.
I can tell you the Dash Diet is way worse to maintain, and as far as strictly cal counting - that is a failure strategy.
Seriously, if it is just the Keto Flu - you can wait it out.

Eat more fats, drink electrolytes, exercise.

No carbs? That would mean no Triscuits. Frown

Serious about crackers.

Just adjust what you do and avoid the processed carbs. Choose carbs with fiber to help offset and if you want fruit or honey for example do it before exercise. I used strict low carb to re-train my body and drop some weight and then moved to a clean eating model to build muscle and keep the weight off.

Welcome to September! I'm on day 20 of my first diet ever. I went full on at 9-1 with the Lion diet. Missing carbs actually hurt once or twice and I found the lack of variety of taste and texture too much. I lasted almost two weeks and have switched to Carnivore. I think it was definitely the first two weeks with a mild headache and a bit of fatigue, but the pounds have been falling of. I'm walking for exercise and eating one meal most days. A couple of times I have split meals, but usually eat the second within about 4 hours to keep my fasting going. Today I'm down 26 pounds. Planning to keep pushing until Thanksgiving for my first cheat day. We'll see from there.

Ronin101 you can do anything you put your mind to. We are all capable of so much more.

Best of luck on your journey.
Cheers~
