Rangefinder recommendations under $200
Im looking for a double duty rangefinder with 6x magnification for bow hunting. It would double as rangefinder and binos.

I think I narrowed it down to the Sig Kilo, Vortex Impact and Bushnell Prime.

I found a good deal on a Sig Kilo but it has the BDC (bullet drop compensate) feature which I will never use and seems overly complicated.

Are there any other brands I should be looking at?

I have a Nikon that I bought bought years ago when it finally made my price point of less than $200 that meets your criteria.

Forget the exact model, I'll update when I get out to my hunting site, but it is 6X magnification, good to 1000 yards/900M low light mode, and has the angle compensation, which I especially value for archery ballistics.

Read up on the angle compensation calculation, I think in retrospect it might be something you would desire in a range finder for archery use.

Edit to add: I also find it simple to use, two buttons, adjustable optical, and after at least 5 or 6 years now that I've had it, I think it is still running on the original battery.

I’ve had a Sig Kilo 1250 for 4-5 years now and like it. Only thing I’d change is the reticle, it’s black so can be difficult to see in lower light scenarios.

Amazon shows the Kilo 1000 for right at 200 and there’s a step up for 210, think it was the 2400 model or something like that.

I've been using a Nikon for more years than I can remember, it doesn't have angle comp. I always figured if I was ranging the animal while bowhunting it was probably close enough that I should be working on drawing and setting up the shot instead. When I get set up and it's light enough I range several trees at the same level as my stand, that takes out the need for compensation. When a deer shows I already know his distance.

I’ve got a Sig Kilo for bowhunting, I think I paid $179. Works great, 2 season with it
