Earlier this evening I was disappointed, but not shocked to see the official U.S. Air Force Twitter account post a pride month tweet with an airmen saluting the rainbow colors.

Seems they were getting too many negative responses.

The U.S. Air Force twitter account has now locked out replies from those that they do not approve of.

I attended USAF Basic Training in July 1974. The waning years of the Vietnam Conflict, so it was considered wartime.
I witnessed this little episode, courtesy of my DI:
After we had been in the 90 degree / 90 % humidity of a Texas summer in our WWII built Barrack for a couple weeks, everyone was quite miserable and looking to escape military service. One day our DI called us all together and announced in very serious tones that USAF policy prohibited homosexual conduct and that those who were homosexual could apply for a discharge. He told us he would be in his office to help anyone who needed to start the discharge process. He left us alone and a general discussion ensued where several disgruntled types decided they would take advantage of the opportunity, even though they were not homosexual. The first would be applicant knocked on the DIs door. In the DI voice that all you GIs so fondly remember, he shouted so we all could hear:
"So you admit you are a Fag? Prove it, suck my dick"!
The applicants immediately had a change of heart.
I would guess my DI ( ParaRescue, Vietnam) is rotating in his grave.

This morning as I drove onto an AF base, I was greeted by the digital billboard and a rainbow pride month advertisement. My morale was not lifted. I then open my email to find an email from secaf that referred to china as a competitor. I think I will use the old term of "enemy".
Oh one more thing, for the first time in my more than 20 year career, there was an email warning of inappropriate conversations while at work. My group has narrowed down the inappropriate talk to saying: "For God and Country" in a meeting.

As to the above video, the vitriol and hate displayed in some of the comments is simply ASTOUNDING! I NEVER in my lifetime thought I would see the persecution of Christians IN MY OWN COUNTRY!!! The Jews have ALWAYS been persecuted throughout history...

My nearby fitness center (Chuze) is now supporting the Pride month bullshit. Pride buttons and assorted crap on display for free taking.

I have decided to go back to another fitness joint, further away but not feeding into the Pride month crap.
