Need snowplow expert help
I have a Fisher HT snowplow, calls for Fisher EZ Flow Hyd Fluid or "conforming to Military Spec MIL-H-5606A".
Can't seem to find any locally. Not crazy about buying a 5 gallon pail on line.
Called the dealer that sold the plow new, parts counter said they don't carry the Fisher EZ Flow.
I did not ask what they use, I had an issue with them earlier (on a completely different product) and I would prefer to not deal with them anyways.
Any experts that can suggest what to use?

Fisher EZ Flow Hyd Fluid

I would imagine any Hydraulic oil that meets the specs would work, some googlization yields several choices of which two are below:

Here's a case of universal hydro quarts on Amazon

What HRK said, plus:

It's a mineral based oil for systems with synthetic rubber seals. Googling the mil spec shows several sources from pints to 5 gallon buckets.

Be careful when following the masses. Sometimes the M is silent.

Well, that didn't take long to make me look like a bumbling idiot.

I generally use Duck Duck Go for my searches as it reduces the ads I get later. Guess that when I failed on that I should have used Google.

Thanks!

I drain/fill the fluid in my plow every year. Have used Western, generic brand... in a Meyer plow for 15yrs. Switched to a Western plow, drain/filled with local auto parts house brand fluid. Not the least bit concerned about not using Western brand fluid.
