Were any "mainstream media" types similarly charged, just for being there and reporting? Or was this man charged based on the nature of his reporting, ie. because his writing on the subject didn't fit the government narrative?

FBI agents are minions of the DOJ. When do any of these agents grow a set of balls and say NO we are not participating in this charade? The disturbing part is many of them seem not content enough to just participate but are willing to set the table for it. Looking at you Mr.Epps. I don't want to hear anymore of this most of them are good guys doing a job only the top is corrupt. Bull shit. Show me one who stood up and said fuck you to this kind of shit. I've been following this guy for a couple months now.
If you've been watching his Blaze Media videos breaking down the events of J6, he's largely dead on point and damning to the DOJ/FBI/Secret Service/Capitol Police. His lawyer was notified a few months ago of pending charges, which he saw coming from a mile away. By simply reporting the incompetence of these folks, and pointing out all the inconsistencies to "the narrative", it's pissed off a LOT of people.
